Fabric stash basics make up a significant portion of a fabric stash and while these stash staples vary from sewer/quilter to quilter, for me that usually means dots, stripes, checks, solids, and of course, gingham. Japanese fabric house Yuwa Fabrics do some great fabric stash basics including these gorgeous gingham fabrics.
These gingham designs are printed on a lovely quality cotton base fabric and while they do release these prints in a range of colors they are not always easy to find in stores. I have been adding these Yuwa prints to stash for some time, and most have been sourced from local patchwork stores. We have some great fabric stores here in Melbourne!
In addition, I have also recently added these beautiful medium scale floral fabric to my stash from the Coloring collection by Jacqueline Savage McFee for Camelot Fabrics; one design, three different colorways. That yellow background color is so cheerful!
