Essex Yarn Dyed Homespun is a brand new release from Robert Kaufman Fabrics. The fabric base is the same linen and cotton blend as the original Essex Yarn Dyed fabric range, however the Homespun range has a defined weave, more like a traditional shot cotton, adding both texture and interest.

Oh my goodness! Look at that texture! The fabric is also lighter in weight and has more drape than the original Essex range. It is lightly textured but soft, and perfect for dressmaking, soft furnishing, and of course, quilting. Essex Yarn Dyed Homespun is available in a range of subtle shades ranging from black to a natural linen look.
