Sunday Stash #208 Botanics by Carolyn Friedlander

Botanics by Carolyn Friedlander for Robert Kaufman Fabrics

Botanics is Carolyn Friedlander's brand new collection.  I loved Carolyn's popular previous fabric collection -  Architextures - and I am naturally also drawn to this range of blender fabrics, low volume and contrast colors, as well as great feature fabrics.

Succulent in Charcoal and Coleus in Charcoal and Fern
Seagrape in Tangerine, Curry and Charcoal

Carolyn draws inspiration from features of the Florida landscape - its long leaf pines, palmettos, water, scrub land, sand as well as her background in architecture.  I am loving the new additions to my low volume fabric stash as well as great basic prints ~ like the Crosshatch:

Botanics - Crosshatch

  4. Love this - the Coleus fabric reminds me of a children's book my sons love - Rosie Revere, Engineer - lots of beautiful drawings on graph paper (she is an engineer, after all!).
