I have slowly been adding to my collection of these Japanese fabrics over the last 18 months or so and as such some of the fabrics featured here have been part of my stash for a while, and others have only just arrived. The small scale reproduction fabrics feature a variety of dainty flowers, strawberries, apples, and birds. Each design is printed in up to five different color ways; all in bright and cheerful colors representative of fabrics from the era. (Almost all of these fabrics were used in the quilt top that I made this week).

These fabrics seem to be more difficult to source and when they do arrive in stores they go quickly. I like keep my eye on the following stores for the arrival of Japanese fabrics by Atsuko Matsuyama:

Miss Matatabi
Pink Castle Fabrics
