It is time for a closer look at Lighthearted by Ayumi Mills for Kokka Fabrics. As the suggested by the name of this collection Lighthearted is a cheerful and fun collection inspired by retro prints from the 1930's. This FQ bundle is from Sample Spree (Fall Quilt Market) - purchased on my behalf by a kind sponsor, for which I am super grateful.
I love this collection for it has a lovely variation in designs, from great stash basics (large and small scale dots) to dainty florals, culinary-themed illustrations, and text fabric (as pictured above).

I also like the earthy tones of this collection, a muted but still cheerful color palette. Need I mention how much I love the bias check print?
