Sunday Stash #198 Florence by Denyse Schmidt

Florence by Denyse Schmidt
Florence is the latest collection by Denyse Schmidt for FreeSpirit Fabrics.  The vintage inspired collection consists of 26 fabrics in a warm and cool color palette; numerous prints indeed do remind me of feedsack/vintage fabric. Here are some my favorites (I am really taken with the blue/green palette):

I like the inclusion of the plaid prints as well as the shirting-like dainty stripes. Several of these fabrics have already been cut into, in particular the four-dots design (top fabric in the above image and fourth fabric in the image below - which has been used to bind this quilt.)
Florence by Denyse Schmidt is in stores now and available from:
The Fat Quarter Shop
StashModern Fabric (Etsy)
Westwood Acres (Etsy)
Fabric Worm
Enjoy Sunday!

  4. This a great collection. My first response to all of the fabrics in a circle was that they looked like men's ties. May be a good collection for making men quilts??
