While it was great to spend some time away from my sewing machine I am equally pleased to be home again. There is no place like home. I have eased myself back into a regular sewing routine with some simple sewing and a pretty color palette ~
.... green, pink/red, a dash of yellow, and a hint of blue. A classic mix of colors. Finding "good" green fabrics is hard! Unlike my considerable stash of predominantly blue/aqua fabrics, my collection of green fabrics is less impressive. I am very particular when it comes to collecting my preferred shade and tone of green fabric; fabrics that are bright green, lime green, or grass green, as apposed to olive green, army green, or deep forest green.
