This week a re-stock of some fabric favorites. Both the elk and elephant designs by Birch Fabrics are adorable and have made their way into several my quilts - they are a great contrast fabric and appeal to children and adults alike. I consider these prints as being part of my stash basics collection.

Birch fabrics are produced from 100% organic cotton and printed with low impact dyes, and having previously used these fabrics I can tell you that they have a lovely soft hand, the colors are saturated and the quality is exceptional.

... a completely different fabric design style to my Birch Fabric arrivals but still what I call a stash basic, these beautiful flower prints by Yuwa Fabrics.

I have chosen these prints for not only are they classic floral designs that are easy to use and mix with other collections, but also for their quirky colors - peach, yellow and green/blue (I would say more blue than green).
