It is a slow sewing week here at RPQ. My daughter is in the middle of VCE exam preparation and it has been a stressful time for her me; exams started today. One down, four exams to go (spread over the next 2 1/2 weeks)!
I have finally made enough log cabin blocks! I have made a total of 36 blocks; each block consists of 9 scrap pieces of fabric, salvaged from my scrap bin, that have now been put to good use.
I hope you don't mind, but I used sashing to join the log cabin blocks and rows together? The addition of the solid white fabric just seemed to have the right calming and soothing effect on these rather busy log cabin blocks.
Hopefully you are having a more productive sewing week than me.
