More of my button stash today and I must say they look rather pretty spread out like this:
Some are old, really old, and others are new - like recently snipped off my husbands worn out shirts. I don't actively search for old buttons to add to my collection, and don't even have much of a need for them. However, I do enjoy occasionally checking out my button stash and having a color play with them.
I just know that I will have a use for them one day (surely), and wonder if you have a button stash (and guard it zealously)?
