Sunday Stash #81

Now if I were to tell you that I didn't bring back any fabric from my trip to The United States you  would know, without a shadow of a doubt, that I was lying.  America is quilter's heaven ~ with fabric at less than half the price than we can source  locally and an abundance of online stores that will ship reliably within days of ordering!

This bundle is Amy Butler's new fabric collection, Soul Blossoms.

I am loving these color matched threads which are making my mind tick over with ideas! Cutting into this bundle of fabric may just have to be next on my list of things to do.

Enjoy Sunday,
Rita

  3. What do you think of the fabric that soul Blossoms is printed on? Corrie (retromummy) and I were having a little email discussion saying how dissapointed we were in it - it seems a bit cheap and coarse. LOVE the prints and colours though!

  9. How delicious are they. I'm green with envy over, it's so pretty! I asked my husband if we could go to New York just to visit Purl Soho, he said no, which is just mean! I look forward to seeing your dedicated post ;-) xx

  11. I have been resisting purchasing Soul Blossoms. Rita, you are terrible for my paypal account. You know that, right? *sigh* Love your fabric choices, and I just got an order from Hawthorne in the mail today. Guess now I'm off to place another order with them.

  19. Oh yes! What a delightful stash! And as my husband is American and we might even go there for X-mas this year, maybe I will just bring an empty suitcase and go shopping nuts over there. I order online fom the US most of the time as it cost a fourth of the price here in Switzerland. That is inluding the cost for shipping. Cant wait to see what you will make out of this AB stash. Lovely!

  23. I feel so bad for the flooded Australians. Though I heard on NPR that they are handling it extremely well and that there isn't mass chaos or anything. That really helps.

Isn't that fabric dee-lish?? So glad you had the opportunity to get more affordable fabric.

I could not afford quilting if I were an Aussie. I've always dreamed about living there, but now I don't think that's a good idea. Unless I gather up a massive fabric stash before I move. ;)
