New Solids by A Day in the Country

I am obsessed.  Obsessed with solid fabrics ... bet you didn't know that already.  Right?

I so love the colors and the range of different shades available for each and every color!  You do know that I've got a penchant for Robert Kaufman Kona Cottons, however this week I found a new range of solids at my local fabric store.  What's more, for once they were reasonably priced (for an Australian fabric purchase that is).

These solid fabrics are by Australian Company - A Day in the Country and are just what is needed in our local fabric market.  I certainly hope that they will continue to expand their solids range.

My next quilt is planned out already - it's churning around in my head anyway.

  1. I made some girls shorts from this fabric on the weekend. It's fantastic to work with and very well priced. Hooray!

  11. To be able to find some really nice solids in AUS must really make your day! Sounds like it won't be long before all you stitchers Down Under will be able to find many items...like your voice is being heard.

  13. The colors are wonderful! I use a lot of Kona, but some of their saturated colors are harsh. These fabrics are saturated, but soft. I am really digging the yellow/gold color. Does A Day in the Country have a website? I can't wait to see what you make with these.
