Meet Oliver

Name:   Oliver
Breed:   Miniature Schnauzer
Age:      6
Loves:   (in order) food, food, going for walks, socks, shoes, and toilet paper

Just so you know - the mini quilt has been claimed by Oliver.  It is draped to cover the armrest of the couch, much like Oliver who loves to lie frog like, legs either side of the armrest, balancing precariously.  He has been known to slip off - only to get back up again and resume sleeping.

  1. Oliver is adorable! Only I won't say it too loud as I have two boxers staring me down for kibble. *laugh*

  4. Too cute! I love Schnauzers... they have amazing personalities. My cats balance on the arm rests too but when they fall off, they look at me like it's my fault then walk off in a huff lol

  6. he's a beauty :) I love schnauzers. Pixie is my mini (not so mini these days...gotta get her on a diet/exercise regime). The frog position must be a schnauzer thing :)

  7. Oliver is a cutie. I hope he doesn't slip off am arm chair, while sleeping, and get hurt. Maybe you need to hire a panda to come consult with Oliver for awhile....or maybe Oliver has some tricks to share with the Pandas and they can make a consulting trade.

    Cute post!

  8. Adorable!

My cat has been known to claim items, usually quilts but he'll usurp anything with a cool texture or of value to me.

  10. Oliver is too cute! I have Emmitt...he's a mini schnoodle...heavy on the "Schn" part! ;o) He loves to lay frog-like too and balance (or try) on the arms and backs of the furniture. Love the quilt he's chosen to tag as his own! ;o)

  22. Your work is beautiful. Oliver is so cute. I also have a snouzer, Muffin, but had her ears cropped. I think he is so cute with his ears the way they are. Love your blot. Thanks for sharing.

  23. My Schnauzer Conner has taken to balancing on the back of the sofa in order to get a prime spot in the sunshine coming thru the windows. He also loves the quilts I make. My blog header shows a pic of him snuggling into some quilts fresh from the dryer.

Oliver is adorable and I enjoy reading your blog!
