More Stash

I can't show you the progress that I have made on the Amy Butler Love Quilt as the pictures that I have taken today just do not do justice to just how colorful and cheerful this quilt is due to the overcast and rainy conditions in Melbourne.  I will be quilting this quilt today and show an update as soon as weather permits.

What I can show you though is new fabric stash that arrived just yesterday.  Ordered online from Tennessee Quilts.  From left to right they are:
  1. Kaffe Fassett - GP106 Embroidered Shawl - Turqoise
  2. Kaffe Fassett - GP Peony - Gray
  3. Kaffe Fassett - Forget-me-not - Pastel
  4. Kaffe Fassett - GP15 - Bubbles
(the last three fabrics on this list are older prints - discontinued? - and difficult to source)

My fabric selection was inspired by this quilt made by Cathy from Cabbage Quilts.  It is gorgeous!  Be sure to check out her blog post to see more of this quilt.

I also re-stashed some of the basic Kaffe Fassett Spots  which I use regularly.  From left to right they are:

Kaffe Fassett - GP70 in Magenta, Slate, Gold and Purple.  I ordered my standard half yard of each.

What have you been stashing?  And re-stashing?

  6. Funny,
I was just trying to order something and payment timed out and lost my order. Argh! I'm giving up and moving on to actually quilting instead.

  8. Peony, Forget-me-not, and Bubbles -- I think I used all three of those in my KF Mosaic Columns quilt, which I think the longarm quilter may have loaded on her machine yesterday or the day before! I can't wait! I love Cathy's ice cream quilt and can't wait to see what you do with your fabrics.

  12. I was inspired by the binding on your baby quilt and ordered lots of Kei Honeycomb dots to add to my stash (especially since I seem to have a fetish for spots). And the same day I got some Heather Bailey. All half yard cuts.

Your stash is something to aspire to (and as a result you must be considered a bad influence)!!

  13. The fabrics are wonderful, especially the spots, they're so useful. Tennessee is great for those retired designs too. I've spent many dollars there.

  16. Hi! I love that forget-me-not fabric. One of my favorite flowers. Also, I made some table napkins from KF Spots--the brown and blue--for my daughter, as it doesn't wrinkle much, so they don't need to be ironed. Visited Cabbage Quilts and loved her stuff too! I'm starting on my tessellation quilt today! Woo-hoo! There's nothing like starting a new project, is there.

  17. Gry and drizzly over my way as well. But you do have Lovely colour combos! I'm trying to buy blenders for my stash so I can get all this old stuff working. And I have been re-stashing cause I need some room for the beads, buttons and paint/dye bottles I've been stashing away as well. Just when I find I'm getting one addiction under control, I find another. lol
