Hello! I've been reading your blog for almost 6 months now, and I love it! Your work is really good, and your taste in colors and fabrics is divine!

I have a question that may be asinine, but if anyone would have the answer it would be you. In all the quilts I have seen on your blog none of them are a standard size for a bed, like a full or a queen. Is quilting not about making bedspreads anymore? or is it too big of a fabric/ time commitment ( not just for you personally but for quilters in general)?

if anyone else has answers for me please feel free to respond as well! I'm am new to quilting, all info is appreciated!

I was wondering, since I am just stashing at the moment (working overseas, no sewing machine until I get back home again)... How much fabric do you buy if you really like a print? I am buying in 1 yard lots, but it has occurred to me that that wouldn't be enough for a quilt backing...

Maybe next time you're in the mood to do a tutorial, could you do one on piecing and getting seams to match up? I marvel at your quilts because no matter how careful I am when cutting and piecing, I can never get my seams to match perfectly.
