My stash is waiting to be unpacked from its boxes - another house move 2 days before Christmas meant all was packed and relocated - 3 moves in 2 years!!

Hopefully all will be settled soon and ready for some serious stitching - especially since my little darling starts school in 2 weeks time!!!!!!!!!

I have a question for you.....I've admired all of your quilts for so long now, and they are so beautiful. I am currently working on my first 'modern' style quilt, and am a little stumped on the batting I should use. I usually use 100% cotton, because I love that crinkled, puckered look of an antique quilt. But this 'modern' quilt is for a very stylish, modern, designer type house, and I want to keep it looking sleek and new.....like your quilts! So what kind of batting do you use in these? Or have they never been washed to get crinkled?

I'm in that "creative frenzy" group. At least until I finish a project. Then I HAVE to tidy up a bit before I can start the next one. Otherwise the chaos would drive me crazy! Love your new blocks!

I have a couple (ha ha) copy paper boxes with scraps. They just pile up until full, then the lid goes on and into the closet it goes. Sometimes I dig in and look for a scrap or too. I'm saving them for a (?) quilt when I retire.
