When I can, I piece my batting pieces together, but I love to use the little scraps for dusting. I really like that fabric so now I am going to have to try and find some. For my leftovers I double cut the batting, butt the edges together and use a zig zag stitch that actually sews three stitches for each zig or zag. I find using a regular zig zag stitch can make more of a ridge.patty a.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01861433552460661701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7027731275129684828.post-78719052270305608842010-09-10T18:07:11.848+10:002010-09-10T18:07:11.848+10:00Another beautiful quilt! But how do you get your lines to turn out so straight? Do you use tape to marks your first line and then use the walking foot as your guide from there? Do you start in the middle of the quilt and work your way out? From the photo your lines look perfectly straight.
Great job!the_shulammitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17287074430660308458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7027731275129684828.post-39486396179253874812010-09-10T11:06:19.931+10:002010-09-10T11:06:19.931+10:00I'm so tickled to see you enjoying the 'cr...I'm so tickled to see you enjoying the 'crinkle factor'......it's such a change from your flat and beautiful quilts.

It's true what they say......

IT'S ALL GOOD !Dollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01538342558750190865noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7027731275129684828.post-7659975231992442502010-09-10T10:05:37.025+10:002010-09-10T10:05:37.025+10:00You.
