This is a fabulous quilt! Definitely a design I could work with. Check out my blog where I did a half-square triangle baby quilt. I'm definitely going to try this design, as I have tons of 5" squares lying around. I can totally see pairing different squares with a neutral fabric. HST's are the greatest thing in the world, don't you think?!? May I link to your blog on my blog?

I just love the Half Square Triangles quilt. This is about as fancy as I ever get in my piecing so far. I love the look of the mixture of linen and quilting cottons. Did you say the linen was a little bulky though? Hmm, I have some lime green linen that I've been wondering what I should do with it, perhaps this would be a good project. The lime would go well with all those Amy Butler prints I have. Oh, so may projects, soooo little time!

Your quilt turned out great! Love your approach to the half square triangles and quilting. And, the binding you chose is a perfect frame. So glad you did not put a border on this quilt as its perfect the way it is. I have a whole stack of mini 1/2 square triangles I lopped off from the flying geese units on a sawtooth star quilt, and am now thinking of the possibilities!
