'Before Christmas' is sounding all a bit ominous. What I am going to do is make a NY resolution in the shape of something to do before NEXT Christmas. I hereby declare that I will be embracing the making of the quilt next year. After being inspired by all your 'gorgeous' for much of the year, I think 2010 could be time to properly dive on in!

I try not to set myself up for too much disappointment, so I didn't set TOO many goals of things that needed to be finished by Dec. 25th. A mini quilt and a few sets of tea towels are all that're left on the list for the big day. However, I do have a half-pieced coins quilt that needs to be done for January 2--it's a wedding present!

I've been gathering fabrics for something similar, except instead of all reds mine is going to be reds purples and fuschia-y pinks. I can't wait to start it... I've been working on finishing a commissioned baby quilt first though.

Good thing is, I finished up the binding on that last night, so watch out stack of Kona solids... you're getting the chopping block this weekend!

I hope to get my sister's quilt done and if I'm lucky the ones I have pinbasted for my kids but if I don't finish their quilts I'll just wrap them anyway!:)
