You measure 2" from the center and trim. <br /><br />After trimming the the block measures 4" x 4". <br /><br />(By trimming the block to 4" x 4" you are effectively adding a 1/4" around the center feature square - thus allowing you to add the next set of 4 triangles without losing the points).
