for Windham Fabrics

Lilla (meaning little in Swedish) is Lotta Jansdotter's newest collection for Windham Fabrics. Made up of small print designs and patterns; smaller in scale that we have come to expect from Lotta. Perfect for patchwork and garment sewing. Especially little girl dresses ~ with butterflies.

The collection features scaled down version of Lotta's popular designs released in previous fabric collections dating back to 2013. I love Lotta's color aesthetic and simple designs, especially the low volume fabrics. Many of the Lotta's low volume fabrics (printed on clean white fabric base) have been used repeatedly in my quilts over the years.

  1. pretty. I am really drawn to the grey and black prints, which is rather unusual for me. I love the vines, the stitchy flowers and the geometric looking pattern.

  3. Aha! Now I know where to get those Kerchief Girls I've seen in almost everyone of your scrappy quilts. Love Lotta's newest collection. Thanks for the update.
