Abacus is a recently released collection by Alison Glass for Andover Fabrics. If, like me, you love low volume fabrics - featuring a predominantly white/light background then this collection is the perfect stash addition.

The Abacus collection features 8 different designs, each design is available as a color on white as well as charcoal on white, for a total of 16 fabrics. Two of those fabrics are sampler panels of designs that feature a  patchwork of up to 8 more designs each a 5 inch square. There are two new mercury prints hidden among this collection as well as one print with metallic gold.

What a clever and useful collection of fabrics! Perfect for scrappy patchwork backgrounds, embroidery applications, and more. I like that the light backgrounds range from stark white to off-white adding interest and further scope for variation.

ABACUS BY ALISON GLASS is in stores now and available from:
Hawthorne Threads
Fabric Bubb
Pink Castle Fabrics
The Intrepid Thread
Stash Fabrics
Fashionable Fabrics
