This big bundle of reproduction fabrics (fat eighths) arrived at my home last week and as they are a great complement for my modern fabric stash. Old meets new. The range consists of 7 designs, and each design comes in up to 7 different colorways; colors we associate with quilts made in that era.

Designs include small scale floral prints, a floral weave designs, two different dot designs and a check print.  The floral weave design (pictured top image above) is my pick of this collection. I even love the brown colorway!

These small scale designs are great for introducing reproduction fabrics into modern projects and you may already have noticed that two of the floral prints from this collection featured in the Single Irish Chain Quilt top made last week. Mixed in with modern designs fabrics, Japanese fabrics and stash basics, these 30's fabrics fit right in.

  1. I love retro! Do you have a bricks & mortar shop?

  2. I love that there are browns in this collection. When I inherited my mother-in-law's stash, she had some vintage calico's in brown. I must get some of these!

  3. Gorgeous fabrics! I'm having a hard time not buying everything I see from blogs and now quilt market is tempting me too! If only I had two more arms and 24 more hours every day!
