Wow! this is striking! look forward to see how you quilt it!
This is simple, yet so beautiful. Love the color combination. Can't wait to see it finished. Love & blessings from NC!
I think the Day in the Country solids are the best. I love the colours in the collection, in particular the brown and I have 2 projects on the go with that fabric! It is so nice to sew as well. Your project is beautiful in its simplicity.
I had to look twice to make sure it was not a single piece of fabric. Your seams are perfect. So you press them to one side or open them for strip piecing?
I just love the colours. Can't wait to see the finished quilt!
I like it! I wonder if you will cut up the strips in small squares or maybe rectangles? Assemble them in a random or a colour themed pattern or if you actually will keep it just like that, simple and cheerfully stripy??? I just wonder... So curious!
Oooh, and by the way. I borrowed some pics from your blog for an inspiration post on mine. including links of course. I hope you don't mind??? Let me know. I will take it off in a swisch if you want me to. You are my greatest inspiration at the moment. Your work is fantastic. And simple. I am a woman of simplicity too. Simply is king (or queen, however you prefer.) Happy 1st advent.
As usual, I love it! Can't wait to see the pieced back and finished product!
that's just fantastic, Rita! it's going to be amazing
i am loving that lime green color with all the colors ~ it looks great with gray too!
This color combination is wonderful!
The fact that you can beautifully sew your own long stripe is a testament to your skill. Thanks for inspiring us! This project will be lovely.
Oh my! Always a treat to see what you're up to, Rita! This is very, very intriguing and has my mind a'racing!
Love those colours and the fabric....where did you purchase the fabbie?
Hey Rita! These are the colors I've picked for my son's nursery (I'm due in April). Can you please tell me what fabric line and colors these are? I'd love to get them! Thanks!Sarah @ Come and See the Seitzhttp://comeandseetheseitz.com
