A Quilting Day

I managed to piece two quilt tops yesterday! What a great sewing day. I also had time to piece the back of the quilt. Here is a sneak peak at the back:

I will be spending my day quilting these two quilts. I am really enjoying the quilting process, particularly when things all go according to plan. I hope to post the final product soon.

  1. Two in one day! What a relaxing time you must have had. That back looks great - the thin, solid strip is just perfect and so nice and straight. My little imperfections seem to add up along an area like that - you were spot on!

  3. Wow, two quilt tops in a day - that's impressive! And if that's the back of the quilt, can't wait to see the front! Happy quilting.

  6. Hi Sylvia, The natural colour fabric is a linen/cotton blend, 55% cotton 45% linen. Your email details are not available to me, but if you email me I can tell you where I purchased it. (I did buy it locally). It is really beautiful and very forgiving to work with!

  10. Is it OK if I love the back more than the front? Haven't seen the front yet but I REALLY love that back.
    Happy quilting!

  12. BTW: Went to my sewing group last night and showed Cath & Kirsten (prints charming) your quilts on Flickr...they LOVED how you have been using their fabric and thought the quilts looked great!
